How to grow jasmine to make it bloom more

How to grow jasmine to make it bloom more

1. Lighting

The environment it likes is hot and ventilated, which means we must give it plenty of light. Generally speaking, when there is more light, its branches will be stronger and its leaves will be greener. Most importantly, it will have many flowers and they will be very fragrant. The lack of fruit flowers is probably due to the lack of sunlight.

2. Moisture

It cannot lack water nor can it be harmed by waterlogging. If it rains too much, we have to pour out the water. When it is hot, we need to water it more in the morning and evening, so that it can grow many flowers.

3. Soil

If the soil we provide it with does not meet the requirements, it will easily lead to few and small flowers. Therefore, it is best to give it slightly acidic but highly fertile flower soil, so that its roots can grow more and grow faster.

4. Fertilization

You need to fertilize it more in midsummer because it grows very fast at this stage. We also need to be careful not to apply too much nitrogen fertilizer and ignore potassium and phosphorus, because the former will cause the branches and leaves to grow in vain without any flower buds, while the latter can promote the gestation of flowers.

5. Pruning

Pruning is also very important. Generally, we need to cut off the new branches with outstanding growth, so that it will bloom more flowers. This operation can also keep its shape compact. After the flowers fade, the dead ones should be cut off so that new ones can grow.

6. Flowering period

We cannot splash water on the flowers when they are blooming, as this may cause the flowers to wither and the fragrance will dissipate.
