How to make Clivia bloom quickly?

How to make Clivia bloom quickly?

1. Pruning

Sometimes some of the basic leaves are too large and too old, and have absorbed a lot of nutrients from fertilizer and soil, so the differentiation of flower buds lacks nutrition. In order to speed up the flowering, we can cut off the old leaves that have grown for more than a year, which can speed up the growth of flowers.

2. Temperature

This plant needs a suitable temperature when it blooms. If it is too cold, its growth rate will be inhibited, so we must ensure that its environmental temperature is appropriate. What we can do is move the flower pot to a warmer place, and make sure that this place has light and appropriate temperature conditions, so that the plant can carry out biological functions to nurture flower buds and bloom. Also pay attention to the ventilation of the environment.

3. Moisture

This plant needs a lot of water during the gestation period and blooming period of the flowers, but you cannot water it too much. Once the amount of water is excessive, the roots of the plant will undergo anaerobically fermentation and even rot.

4. Fertilizer

This plant needs us to apply fertilizer when it is forming flower buds. You can choose bone meal, fermented fish viscera, or bean cake water.

5. Time

If the purpose is to speed up the flowering of the plant, then the above measures actually need to be carried out one month in advance.
