How Silver Star Reproduction Works

one. Leaf cuttings

1. Select some healthy and disease-free plants, then pick out the largest and healthiest leaves from them and gently break them off. Once the leaves of this plant mature, the bottom part will fall off more easily, so you can just break them off with your hands.

2. Place the broken leaves in a place with scattered light to dry. The drying process takes about 3 to 5 days. Once the wound has healed, you can start planting. But please note that during the drying process, we may find that the leaves will slightly collapse or wrinkle. If the leaf is still healthy it's fine, but if it's shrunk too badly and has no roots or sprouts, then the leaf isn't worth keeping.

3. Choose a wider pot and use formulated soil for cultivation. It is best to choose German peat, perlite, rice husk ash, and vermiculite, mixed in a ratio of 1:1:1:2. After the soil is prepared, spray it lightly with a watering can before starting leaf cuttings.

4. At this time, you must pay attention to the humidity of the air, because in order for the leaves to grow roots, there must be a higher air humidity, and the air humidity must be maintained above 70%. If it is too dry, you can increase humidity by spraying water in the air.

1. Cut the top of the branch with leaves about ten centimeters long from the top of the stronger plant.

2. Prepare sandy soil suitable for its growth. Please refer to the above for details.

3. Before cutting, water the soil to keep the sand moist, then you can insert the cut branches. After about 15 days, it will grow roots.
