How to breed Xiuyan

How to breed Xiuyan

1. Reproduction

You can choose to cut off the head of Xiu Yan and use cuttings, but you need to be cautious when propagating. You can choose to cut off the head at the appropriate position, and the technique should be as clean and neat as possible, otherwise it will be detrimental to the growth of Xiu Yan. Then place the cut Xiu Yan in a ventilated place for one night. The next day, you can place the cut Xiu Yan on a glass container. This will allow the roots of Xiu Yan to grow slowly. Once new roots grow, you can plant Xiu Yan in a new soil pot.

2. Maintenance

1. Watering

The most taboo thing for Xiu Yan is giving it too much water, which will cause the branches and trunks to rot. Even if you give it less water, you cannot water it too much, otherwise Xiu Yan's roots will easily rot. Therefore, controlling the water content is the most important method of caring for Xiu Yan.

2. Fertilization

When fertilizing Xiu Yan, pay attention to the frequency of fertilization. Try to fertilize once a month and keep the amount of fertilizer moderate. Dissolve the fertilizer and water together and then pour it into Xiu Yan's potting soil.

3. Growth Environment

Xiu Yan is a succulent plant so it has certain requirements for the air permeability of the potting soil. Therefore, in order to enhance the air permeability, you can put some sand or rubble at the bottom of the Xiu Yan flowerpot. The environment for growing Xiu Yan should be as moist as possible. You can use a spray bottle to spray water on the branches and leaves of Xiu Yan. This can ensure that Xiu Yan lives in a relatively refreshing and moist environment.

Note:

The Xiu Yan needs more ventilation on a daily basis. Don't keep it in a stuffy environment as this is not conducive to its growth. This flower should be placed in a place with strong light, so that the color of the Xiu Yan's leaves will become very bright. If there is sufficient sunlight, the Xiu Yan will turn into a rosy color which is very pleasing. If the light is too dark, the leaves of the Xiu Yan will easily become loose. It is a big problem that Soo-yeon's hair is growing too tall. You can cut off the hair that has grown too tall to correct the problem. However, you should pay attention to the position of the hair when cutting it off. You should prevent Soo-yeon from getting sick and observe her growth more often.
