How to deal with drooping leaves of Clivia

How to deal with drooping leaves of Clivia

1. Control the temperature

1. Reason: Unsuitable environmental temperature will cause poor growth of Clivia. If it is kept in an environment with inappropriate temperatures for a long time, its leaves will wilt, droop, and may even turn black.

2. Treatment method: Change the breeding environment and keep it in an environment between 15-25℃. After a period of time, it will be able to recover and grow again.

2. Shading

1. Reason: Strong light will burn the leaves of the plant, causing them to turn yellow and develop burn spots. It will also evaporate the water in the leaves, causing them to lose water and droop.

2. Treatment method: Place the plant in a semi-shaded environment and use scissors to cut off the leaves that are severely sunburned. Then keep it ventilated and it will be able to grow new leaves after a period of time.

3. Increase watering

1. Reason: If you forget to water it, it may cause it to lack water. If it lacks water for a long time, its leaves will turn yellow and droop.

2. Treatment method: At this time, move it to a warm location and water it thoroughly. Pour clean water into the soil and stop watering when water flows out of the drainage holes at the bottom of the pot. After that, increase the frequency of watering appropriately to prevent it from lacking water again, and it will gradually recover.
