How to plant multi-flowered wild peony seeds

Soil selection

Multi-flowered wild peony is accustomed to growing on a slightly alkaline substrate. Therefore, when selecting a substrate for it, you can choose a cultivation soil with a pH between 7.0 and 8.0.

As a type of peony, it also likes fertilizer like other peonies, so when selecting the substrate for it, you can choose a cultivation soil with relatively high fertility.

The germination of seeds requires oxygen for breathing, and its seeds are no exception. Therefore, when selecting a substrate for it, you can choose a relatively loose and breathable cultivation soil.

It is afraid of stagnant water. Firstly, stagnant water may submerge its seeds, causing the seeds to be unable to contact the air and germinate. Secondly, its roots cannot be soaked in water for a long time, otherwise it will cause rot. Therefore, when choosing a substrate for it, you can choose a growing soil that will not accumulate water.

Temperature regulation

Like other peonies, it likes a warm growing environment, and the planting temperature is best kept at around 20℃.

If planting outdoors, you also need to consider whether the outdoor temperature is suitable for its growth. If it is in a severe winter or a hot summer, you can store the seeds first and start planting when the temperature is suitable.

Planting method

First, choose a flower pot of the right size, disinfect it, and then fill it with soil.

Some rotten leaves can be mixed into the cultivation soil, which can not only increase the aeration capacity of the substrate, but also provide certain nutrients for the plants to absorb.

The substrate cannot be filled too full, otherwise it will affect the subsequent watering work.

Use tools to level the soil surface before starting to sow seeds. When sowing seeds, you also need to consider the distribution of seeds. Only when the seeds are evenly distributed on the substrate can the grown potted plants be sufficiently ornamental.

After sowing the seeds, don't forget to cover them with a layer of growing soil to ensure that the seeds are completely immersed in the soil so that they can germinate normally.

Finally, you need to use a sprinkler to wet the substrate in the flowerpot to provide a moist germination environment for the seeds to facilitate germination.
