How to plant five-star flower

Seed selection and sowing

The seeds of the pentas are very small, but this does not mean that multiple seeds can be planted in the same pit. When choosing seeds, try to choose seeds produced by pest-free plants, and then put one seed in each hole. You can decide how many holes to dig and how many seeds to put in according to the size of the flowerpot. After placing the seeds in the pit, there is no need to cover it with soil. The diameter of the pit should be about 1.5 cm to 2 cm.

Environmental requirements

Maintain the temperature between 23 and 26 degrees, and small sprouts will grow in about 10 to 14 days. Its seeds do not need to be germinated first like the seeds of other plants, but after the seeds are planted, the soil must maintain a certain humidity, which is conducive to germination.

Transplantation and colonization

The seedlings can be transplanted or planted in about 7 to 9 weeks. If the diameter of the flowerpot is 10 cm to 15 cm, 1 to 2 seedlings can be planted. If the diameter is less than 10 cm, it is best to plant only 1 seedling.

Seedling care

Before transplanting the seedlings, you can apply fertilizer first, which can make it grow stronger and is also very beneficial for the future growth and flowering of the plants.

Place it in the sun as much as possible. If the midday sun is too strong or the summer sun is too strong, appropriate shade should be provided to prevent the seedlings from being sunburned.
