How to fertilize Thousand Buddha Hands

How to fertilize Thousand Buddha Hands

one. Spring Equinox to Grain in Ear Period

The fertilization of potted Thousand Buddha Hands is divided into four different fertilization stages in a year, namely the period from the Spring Equinox to the Grain in Ear, the period from the Grain in Ear to the Great Heat, the period from the Great Heat to the Autumnal Equinox, and the period from the White Dew to the Frost Descent. First of all, during the period from the Spring Equinox to the Grain in Ear, nitrogen fertilizer needs to be applied once a week, and some dipotassium phosphate needs to be added to the soil of the root and rhizome part. In addition, the soil must be loose sandy soil or red-yellow soil, and an appropriate amount of organic fertilizer must be applied to the soil to increase the nutrients in the soil, so as to ensure that the roots and rhizomes of Thousand Buddha's Hand grow better.

2. Grain in Ear to Great Heat

This period of time is the most vigorous flowering period of Thousand Buddha's Hand. Fertilizer must be applied every three to five days. After fertilization, water should be applied. The soil should be kept moist but not too moist. Watering is also the key to the growth of Thousand Buddha's Hand. When the temperature starts to rise in April and May, the Thousand Buddha Hands plant's demand for fertilizer will also increase. At this time, you must apply more phosphorus and potassium fertilizers to ensure its normal flowering.

3. From the Great Heat to the Autumnal Equinox

During this period, you need to apply more compound fertilizers of potassium and phosphorus, and pay attention to applying less nitrogen fertilizer. When the temperature slowly drops, you need to gradually reduce the amount of fertilization and the amount of watering should also be slowly reduced.

4. White Dew to Frost Descent

During this period, you can apply less thin fertilizer, but you still need to control the amount of nitrogen fertilizer. In winter, the growth of the Thousand Buddha Hands will gradually slow down as the temperature gradually drops. At this time, you must pay attention to controlling the temperature. The demand for fertilizer is actually very small, so you can apply fertilizer according to actual conditions.

The above is how to fertilize Thousand Buddha's Hand. You must pay attention to the fertilization methods in different time periods. I wish that the Thousand Buddha's Hands you raise can grow healthily!
