Propagation and development by cuttings

The cutting method is the one we use most often, because it is relatively convenient and quick, and the survival rate is also relatively high. Generally, we take the woody and thicker branches that have just grown for a year in the spring, and then cut off the leaves at the bottom. They should be planted in the few days before the rain comes, because the temperature and humidity of this season have reached the conditions required for cuttings. If you need to get to the bottom of the ear, it is best to use a specific chemical solution or a substance powder that can promote rooting, and dip them in it. This will be more conducive to the survival of the cuttings. The soil required for the base is preferably sand. The depth of entering the soil is about half of it. After inserting it, be sure to avoid the sun and spray water appropriately. It will start to take root in about a month. You can transplant it that year or put it in a pot.

Propagation by sowing

We soak the fruits picked in the previous autumn in 0.3% potassium permanganate for a few minutes, and then start sowing in early spring. When sowing, it is best to use a shallow pot, wooden box, or ground bed, and sprinkle coarse sand with good drainage on the bottom of the pot. After sowing, a thin layer of fine soil should be spread on it. When watering at the beginning, the amount should be less, and then watering a little more often. When it grows into seedlings, spray it with about 1% Bordeaux liquid once a week, and start transplanting when the seedlings grow about 3 true leaves. At this time, the roots have basically grown, so the survival rate is very high, and the method of propagation by sowing is completed.
