How does Purple Pearl survive the winter?

If your purple pearl plant has grown to a relatively mature stage and you have fertilized it before winter to increase its resistance to severe cold, then in areas like southern my country where the climate is relatively shady and a little cold, you can safely grow it outdoors if the temperature drops for a short period of time, as the temperature in these places is inherently changeable.
