What to do if the leaves of green radish have spots

1. Proper shade

Cause: Because the light is too strong, the leaves of the green radish are burned or lose water, resulting in spots.

Solution: Pothos usually needs a little diffuse light, but not strong light. If the light is too strong, you need to provide shade. Especially in the summer afternoons, put it in a semi-shaded place to avoid being exposed to the sun.

2. Reduce watering

Cause: Too much watering or long-term dampness in the potting soil causes bacteria to grow and infect the roots, resulting in spots on the leaves.

Solution: Control the amount of water when watering, and drain any accumulated water as soon as possible. Do not water when the soil is still relatively moist to avoid bacterial growth. If the bacteria has already eaten away at the roots, you will need to remove it from the pot, wash off the soil and trim off any rotten roots. Soak the roots with carbendazim and replant them in sterilized dry soil.

3. Increase fertilization

Cause: Due to insufficient nutrients in the soil, the plant grows poorly and spots appear on the leaves.

Solution: Apply inorganic liquid fertilizer once every half a month. You can also use foliar fertilizer at ordinary times, or make your own by mixing beer with water, the general ratio is about 1:1. Foliar fertilizer needs to be sprayed evenly on the leaves with a spray bottle, which is more conducive to absorption.

4. Seedling maintenance

Reason: After the green radish is transferred to another environment, it is easy for spots to appear on its leaves. This is a normal phenomenon because it has not yet adapted to the new environment.

Solution: Cut off the petioles of the spotted leaves to avoid wasting water and nutrients. At the same time, pay attention to regulating the temperature and humidity of the environment, appropriately increase ventilation, and use diffuse light, so that it can adapt to the environment faster.
