Fertilization method

The fragrant wood is a plant that does not like fertilizer very much. It is very sensitive to fertilizer. During the seedling period of the fragrant wood, we can apply a small amount of fertilizer, or no fertilizer if necessary. Too much fertilizer may burn the seedlings and affect the growth of the fragrant wood. Fragrant wood is relatively drought-resistant and can grow in areas with poor soil, so it does not require too much care.

The water demand of the fragrant wood is not very high. It usually needs less watering and less fertilization. If there is still moisture in the soil during watering, the roots of the fragrant wood will rot. At the same time, if too much fertilizer is used, overnutrition will occur. For the grown fragrant wood, fertilizer can be used normally, but it also depends on its growth conditions. When it is growing well, you can stop fertilizing. When you find that the leaves are not growing very well, you can apply a small amount of fertilizer appropriately. If you find that you have applied too much fertilizer, you can water more and let the water overflow from the flowerpot. This will dilute the excess fertilizer and save the plant back to normal.

Precautions

When we plant the fragrant wood, the height of the fragrant wood and the flower pot is about 60 cm. We need to prune the branches that grow too densely, so that it can look more beautiful. When pruning, cut off the old branches at the top, so that it is easier to grow new branches.

When planting fragrant wood, three things should be paid attention to: first, avoid waterlogging; second, avoid dark environment; third, pay attention to the use of fertilizer.
