How to water the Dracaena? Do these four things!

Growth habit:

It likes relatively sufficient light and grows best in a warm and humid environment. However, they cannot withstand severe cold. When the temperature is below 5 degrees in winter, it will affect their health.

How to water the dragon blood tree:

1. Watering amount

Dracaena is a plant from tropical regions and can withstand overly dry environments. When watering on a daily basis, you should not water too much, otherwise it will cause the dragon blood tree to rot. After watering thoroughly, you can water it again every 10 days.

2. Water according to actual conditions

Because everyone's environment for growing Dracaena is different, you should not water it according to their watering schedule. Watering itself is an irregular thing. We can often observe the condition of the soil. If it is too dry, we can reduce watering. If it is too wet, we can temporarily stop watering.

3. Water quality for watering

It is not just the dragon blood tree. It is not recommended to water all plants directly with tap water. Tap water is also called "hard water". Using hard water to water plants for a long time can easily cause the plants to turn yellow and the leaves to fall off. You can use well water or rice water instead of tap water to water the plants.

4. Watering during the winter

Dracaena hibernates in winter. It will not absorb a lot of water during hibernation, so control the amount of watering. You can water it once every ten days or so, and it is best to keep the soil relatively dry so that it can hibernate safely.
