These little things on the roadside can actually be grown into small potted plants, which are even prettier than the ones you buy!

These little things on the roadside can actually be grown into small potted plants, which are even prettier than the ones you buy!

ginkgo

Huahua found a lot of ginkgo trees on the roadside, so she picked the fruits and took them home. Then she peeled open the ginkgo nuts inside and boiled them before eating!

1. Take out the seeds from the ginkgo fruit, wash them, and store them in a ventilated and dry place. Wait until the spring of the following year, soak them in warm water for 5-7 days, and then place them in moist sand to germinate.

2. Plant the germinated seeds in a flowerpot. You can choose loose and breathable nutrient soil.

3. The planted ginkgo nuts will sprout soon. Before long, you can grow a lush little potted plant. Isn’t it very beautiful?

Mangosteen

Nowadays, more and more flower lovers are eating mangosteen. However, Huahua heard that mangosteen is very cheap in Thailand, and you can buy a lot of it for 10 yuan!

1. Pick the mangosteen growing on the tree. (Seeing the densely packed mangosteens, Huahua felt that her trypophobia was about to kick in)

2. Remove the white flesh of mangosteen, and the light brown flat beans inside are the seeds of mangosteen.

3. Bury the mangosteen seeds in the soil and take good care of them, and you will soon get a small potted mangosteen plant. Flower lovers who take good care of it can even eat the mangosteen that grows!

Albizzia

Huahua likes Albizia julibrissin very much, because its flowers really look like small fans, and their pink and tender appearance makes girly hearts burst!

1. Huahua always feels that the seeds produced by Albizia Julibrissin are very similar to the beans at home.

2. Pick the pods of the Albizia Julibrissin from the tree, dig out the seeds inside and plant them in a flowerpot. This way you can get a beautiful small potted plant of the Albizia Julibrissin.

Tamarind

The fruit of the tamarind tree tastes very sour and is usually made into beverages, juices and jams. Its flowers can also be used to make Western salads.

1. Pick the mature tamarind pods from the tree, then dig out the seeds and clean them. The seeds of tamarind are a bit similar to longan, but they are more peculiar in shape than longan seeds.

2. Plant the seeds of the tamarind tree in a flowerpot to grow a small potted plant. And an interesting thing is that its leaves open during the day and close at night. It's simply magical!

Bauhinia (Bauhinia odorata)

Many people call Bauhinia bauhinia "Bauhinia ovata", mainly because its leaves look like sheep's hooves and its flowers are very beautiful.

1. After the Bauhinia blooms, it will produce fruits similar to bean pods, and its seeds are very flat.

2. Plant the Bauhinia seeds in a flowerpot. Before long, a lush small potted plant will grow. Dear flower lovers, look, are these leaves the same as those of the sheep’s trotter?

Koelreuteria paniculata

The tree of love is also called the lantern tree because in autumn, it blooms in clusters. When the wind blows, they look like small lanterns swaying. The pink flowers are very beautiful.

1. The seeds of the Koelreuteria paniculata are usually hidden in the flowers, so only by peeling open the flowers can you see the small black round seeds hidden inside.

2. The small potted plants grown from the Koelreuteria tree are so beautiful. The whole plant is not dark green in color, but a light green color that makes people like it at first sight.

Chestnut (hairy chestnut)

The chestnuts that Huahua is talking about here are often called hairy chestnuts. They are a little smaller than the chestnuts we usually eat. When chestnuts grow on trees, they are covered with a layer of prickly thorns. When they are ripe, they will crack open and reveal the chestnuts.

1. Pick the mature chestnuts from the tree. Just sow directly. Remember to use raw chestnuts for sowing. It is impossible to grow small potted plants from the sugar-roasted chestnuts bought outside!

2. Soon, we will have a beautiful small chestnut potted plant! This leaf looks really big and it would be so beautiful in the living room!

Podocarpus

When you see other people’s Podocarpus bonsai, do you sometimes feel particularly envious? In that case, why not plant one yourself?

1. Podocarpus will bear fruit in winter, and the colors of the fruits are colorful. When Huahua saw it for the first time, she was stunned!

2. After picking the fruits of Podocarpus, just plant them directly in a flowerpot! When the seeds of Podocarpus grow up, they will become a beautiful potted plant. If you want to shape your Podocarpus, you will have to grow it for a long time.

Huahua will introduce this place first today.

Have you ever planted those small potted plants?

You can say "Oh" to Huahua in the comments!

<<:  This is what you should do in early autumn so that the flowers will not die or be injured and will bloom brilliantly!
