When to water

The reason why cineraria is called "melon" leaf cineraria is because its leaves grow like the leaves of melon plants, which are both large and thin. Therefore, it cannot tolerate water shortage, especially in summer, strong light and high temperature will cause a large amount of water loss from the leaves. At this time, sufficient water supply is needed, but care must be taken not to allow water to accumulate in the flowerpot. The optimal amount of water supply is that the leaves look fresh and tender and not wilted.

Watering time

The general watering time is adjusted according to the moisture of the soil in the flowerpot. You can water it when it is dry, about once every two or three days. If the soil in the flowerpot is moist but the leaves are withering, you can use a spray bottle to spray water on the leaves, which can both cool down and increase the air humidity.

Precautions

During the bud-forming period of Cineraria, the amount of watering must be strictly controlled, and the potted plants must be moved to a relatively cool place. And the temperature when watering should be above 15 degrees Celsius and below 30 degrees Celsius.
