Yellow coconut cultivation methods and precautions

Yellow coconut cultivation methods and precautions

1. Soil

It is best to use loose, deep, acidic soil for growing yellow coconut. In addition, the soil should have strong drainage, which will be conducive to its healthier growth.

2. Water

During its vigorous growth stage, it should be ensured that there is sufficient water and the soil should be kept moist without stagnant water. Water more in dry or hot summer, and water less in winter when the temperature is lower or it is rainy. In summer, you should spray water appropriately to increase the humidity of the air, but there should be no stagnant water.

3. Temperature

The yellow coconut should be provided with a growth environment of 20-35℃. The temperature should not be higher than 35℃. Too high temperature will cause the leaves to turn yellow. When the temperature is too low in winter, the temperature should be adjusted appropriately, not lower than 10℃. Too low temperature will affect its root growth.

4. Lighting

When growing yellow coconut, it is best to place it in a place with scattered light and avoid direct exposure to strong light, especially in summer, when shade measures should be taken. However, it cannot be grown in a dark environment for a long time and should be placed in a place with good light. In winter, the light is weak and the plant can receive full-day sunlight.

5. Notes

During its growth process, weak and diseased branches should be pruned off in time, and if the plant is large, it can be divided. Proper pruning can reduce nutrient consumption and is more conducive to plant growth.
