The difference between Xingdou and Liulidou

The difference between Xingdou and Liulidou

The difference in shape and color:

Star Pocket:

1. The diameter is about 5 cm to 8 cm long, the height is about 8 cm to 10 cm high, and the surface is evenly divided into 6 to 10 pieces;

2. Its skin is covered with small white spots and evenly distributed with larger spherical hairs, but its spherical hairs are much less than those of the Liulidou.

Glass Pocket:

1. The diameter is about 10 cm to 15 cm long and the height is about 10 cm. It is relatively large, but the surface is also divided into 6 to 10 pieces;

2. There are no white spots on its skin, only evenly distributed spherical hairs, and the whole body is emerald green. It has many more spherical hairs than the star-shaped cricket, and each row appears denser, which is the easiest way to distinguish them.

Flower difference:

The flowering period of the star flower is summer. The flower is yellow in color, but the center of the flower is red. The flower diameter is between 3 cm and 4 cm. It grows at the top of the plant and is funnel-shaped.

The flowering period of the Gladiolus glabra is relatively long, from March to October, which means it can bloom from spring to autumn. The color of the flower is also yellow, but its center is orange, which is one of the more obvious differences between them.

The above is a summary of their differences and also a way to distinguish them. But when it comes to raising them, the maintenance of the Star Fern is actually simpler than that of the Glass Fern. So which one do you like better?
