How to water Chiva Lotus

How to water Chiva Lotus

How much watering is important

The Chiva Lotus plant grows in spring and autumn. At the same time, they need to ensure a sufficient water environment. If the soil is dry, you can water it once. When watering, you must be careful to avoid water accumulation in the center of the leaves, otherwise it will easily be sunburned, or even rot in severe cases.

Temperature and watering

Generally speaking, the outdoor temperature in summer will exceed 30℃, and it requires proper water control. The Chiva plant grows very slowly, so it needs to be watered appropriately, but it does not need to be watered thoroughly. Unlike other plants, Chiva Gardenia has difficulty surviving the summer. If the temperature is above 30℃, its growth will be affected. Therefore, in the summer, we should strengthen its ventilation and control watering. It is recommended that you choose to water it at night. When its leaves become transparent and show signs of melting, you should stop watering it.

Watering time

The best time to water is during the warmer noon when spring and winter are approaching. In summer, watering should be done in the cool afternoon or evening. Cover up in spring, keep cool in autumn, and take a nap in summer. The Chiva Lotus plant will also feel a little sleepy in summer. It is recommended that you place it in a bright and well-ventilated place for maintenance. After the summer season is over, you can gradually increase the light exposure to it, and when the autumn heat is completely over, you can give it full light.

Having said so much, I believe that everyone can take good care of their own Chiva!
