Cherry Blossom Leaf Blight

Symptoms

This disease mainly occurs in summer and will cause harm to the leaves of cherry blossoms. At first, yellow-green spots will appear in a round shape, then slowly turn brown and produce many small black spots on them, causing the leaves to die.

Prevention

If diseased leaves are found, they should be removed and burned in time. From May to June, spray 65% ​​Zineb wettable powder (600 times diluted) once every week, and spray two or three times in a row.

Cherry Blossom Root Nodule

Symptoms

It mainly harms the base of the trunk, and sometimes also occurs on the root collar or lateral roots. This type of disease will form a tumor, which will appear milky white or flesh-colored at first, and will gradually darken into brown. The surface will be uneven and very rough. It seriously affects the development of the root system and the growth of the plant. In severe cases, it will cause the leaves to turn yellow and fall off, or even the entire plant to die.

Prevention

Use a sharp knife to remove the tumor and surrounding tissue cleanly and thoroughly. Then sprinkle sulfur powder into the soil around the diseased plants for disinfection.

Cherry Blossom Brown Spot Punch Disease

Symptoms

Brown spot perforation disease mainly harms the leaves of cherry blossoms. At first, small purple-brown dots will appear, which will slowly expand and become round. The area will become dry and shrink to form small holes, causing the leaves to fall prematurely.

Prevention

Clean up and burn the diseased leaves in time, and spray maneb solution once or twice a month for prevention and control.

Cherry Blossom Broom Disease

Symptoms

The branches and leaves of the cherry blossoms will change into the shape of broom and no flowers will bloom.

Prevention

Observe more often, cut off diseased branches in time, and destroy them, and don't forget to apply fungicide on the cut ends.
