Rice vinegar water to wipe the leaves

In fact, Huahua thinks that many of the condiments in the kitchen can be used to grow flowers. The one Huahua is going to talk about today is the rice vinegar that is common in the kitchen.

effect:

Rice vinegar is rich in nutrients such as amino acids, organic acids and vitamin B1. After wiping the leaves, the leaves can absorb the nutrients and become greener and brighter! Moreover, spraying rice vinegar on the flowers before they bloom can make the plants bloom more!

Directions:

1. Mix rice vinegar and water in a ratio of 1:1000, dip a towel or cotton cloth in the rice vinegar solution, gently wipe the front and back of the leaves, and then wash them with clean water.

2. Pour the remaining rice vinegar solution from wiping the leaves into a spray bottle and spray it on the leaves. This will not only allow the leaves to absorb nutrients in the rice vinegar and become greener, but also allow the plant to produce more buds during the bud formation period, thereby producing more flowers.

Rub the leaves with wood ash

Huahua still remembers that when she was young, her mother would use the ashes from burnt plants at home to grow flowers, and the flowers grew particularly well. But nowadays, wood ash is not very common in cities, and we don’t even know where to get it.

effect:

Wood ash is the ash left after plants burn. It contains a lot of potassium fertilizer and various minerals, which is very suitable for the growth and development of flowers. So if you can get wood ash around you, use it to grow flowers!

Directions:

1. Mix wood ash and water in a ratio of 1:10, stir thoroughly and leave for about 15 hours, then filter out the wood ash residue.

2. Pour the clarified wood ash solution into a spray bottle and spray it on the leaves of the plant. This will not only provide fertilizer for the flowers and make the leaves green, but also prolong the flowering period.

3. Dilute the wood ash with water in a ratio of 1:5. After soaking for 24 hours, take the upper clear liquid and put it in a spray bottle. Spray it on the plants to prevent and control pests such as aphids on the plants. Because wood ash is alkaline, it can block the breathing holes of aphids and suffocate them to death.

Beer wipe blade

The first thing Huahua wants to talk about is beer, which is often drunk in summer. Because Huahua lives in Qingdao, this beer can be found everywhere. I buy a pound of it on the roadside after get off work, put it in a plastic bag and take it home to use for wiping the leaves. The effect is amazing!

effect:

As we all know, beer is basically brewed from grains. It contains a lot of protein, sugar, amino acids, phosphates and other substances, which are beneficial to the growth of flowers. Beer also contains a lot of carbon dioxide, which is essential for the metabolism of flowers. Therefore, wiping the leaves with beer can make the leaves more shiny!

Directions:

1. If you want to wipe the leaves with beer, you must first dilute the beer before using it, because beer contains a lot of maltose. If you use pure beer directly to wipe the leaves, the maltose will stick to the leaves, causing the leaves to absorb more dust and seriously clog the pores. You can mix beer and water in a ratio of 1:10 to make a solution.

2. Use a clean cotton cloth or towel, dip it in the beer solution, and gently wipe the leaves, wiping both sides. If you really don't want to waste towels, you can also use cotton pads. This method is suitable for flowers with larger and thicker leaves, such as green ivy, Clivia, money tree, and evergreen.

3. If you think wiping the leaves is too time-consuming, you can also pour the prepared beer solution into a spray bottle and spray it directly on the leaves of the plant to achieve the same effect.

4. Whether you are wiping the leaves or spraying them, you can rinse the leaves with clean water about 3-5 hours after using the beer to wash off the sugar substances on the leaves.

Banana peel to rub leaves

If you really can't find beer at home, Huahua would like to recommend another magic tool for wiping the leaves, that is the leftover banana peels! Haha, didn’t you expect this at all?

effect:

Banana peels contain some natural oils, which can remove some dust that is difficult to remove from the leaves. Banana peels also contain phosphorus, potassium and other factors, which can also supplement nutrients for the leaves, making the leaves become more and more shiny!

Directions:

1. If your home is not ventilated often, resulting in a lot of dust on the leaves, you can clean the dust on the leaves by gently wipe the leaves with the inside of a banana peel.

2. Banana peels are sticky. In order to avoid clogging the pores, it is best to rinse them with clean water after wiping the leaves with banana peels.

3. In addition to wiping the leaves directly with banana peels, you can also cut the banana peels into small pieces, add water, seal them in a plastic bottle, and expose them to the sun. After about 1-2 months, the fertilizer will be successfully fermented. Mix banana peel fertilizer and clean water in a ratio of 1:50 and spray it on the leaves to make the leaves green.

Carbendazim

As soon as summer arrives, black rot, stem rot and other diseases come knocking. The reason is that the sterilization and disinfection work is not in place, which gives various pathogens an opportunity to take advantage! Therefore, if you want to prevent your flowers from getting sick in the summer, you have to spray some fungicide every now and then!

effect:

Flowers in summer are most vulnerable to various fungi and pathogens, so this is when carbendazim is needed! As long as you use carbendazim, the flowers in your home will basically stay healthy throughout the summer, and the leaves will of course be greener than before!

Directions:

1. Mix the purchased carbendazim powder with clean water in a ratio of 1:1000. Dip a cotton swab or towel in the carbendazim solution and gently wipe the leaves of the plant. This can not only prevent sterilization and disinfection, but also clean the dust on the leaves.

2. If the leaves of the flowers at home are too small to be wiped by hand, just pour the carbendazim solution into a spray bottle and spray it on the leaves of the plants. Remember that the concentration of carbendazim must be low, otherwise white powder will appear on the leaves, which is the residue of carbendazim.

Compound fertilizer granules

A few days ago, when Huahua returned home, she found that the leaves of the green radish at home had turned black. After asking, she found out that her mother had used the fertilizer used on the crops on the green radish, which made the leaves of the green radish so green that they seemed to be dripping with oil!

effect:

Compound fertilizer contains various elements needed by plants, such as nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, etc. After being dissolved in water and sprayed onto the leaves of the plants, it can provide the plants with various nutrients needed for growth. So if you have compound fertilizer at home, use it to grow flowers boldly!

Directions:

1. Dissolve the compound fertilizer granules in water at a ratio of about 1:1500. If you are unsure of the amount, put 2-3 grains of compound fertilizer in a 500ml mineral water bottle. The concentration cannot be too high, otherwise it will easily burn the roots and stems and burn the leaves.

2. Dip a towel in the prepared compound fertilizer solution and wipe it on the leaves, both sides. The remaining fertilizer water can also be put into a spray bottle and sprayed on the leaves of the plant about once every 10-15 days. The leaves will absorb the nutrients in the compound fertilizer and will become greener and greener!

Foliar fertilizer for plants

If you think the methods introduced above are too troublesome, then just buy foliar fertilizer specifically for flowers!

effect:

Foliar fertilizers are basically specially prepared for flowers. After using foliar fertilizer, the leaves of flowers can become shiny and dark green, and its photosynthesis can be enhanced. Especially for those thin and short plants, the effect is more significant.

Directions:

Dilute the foliar fertilizer with water according to the ratio specified in the instructions, stir evenly and spray it on the leaves of the plant, about once every 7-10 days. The leaves absorb the nutrients in the foliar fertilizer and will naturally grow more vigorously!
