How to transplant sunflowers

How to transplant sunflowers

Move to a new pot

When growing sunflowers, sometimes you need to transplant them from one pot to a new pot. The method is relatively simple.

Before transplanting, be careful not to water it, and wait until the soil is dry, then take it out completely. If it is more difficult, see if you still want the old pot. If not, just destroy the pot.

Transplant the sunflower with the soil into a new pot. Be sure to add some new soil and compact the soil. After watering, it's ok. It can be exposed to light.

Transplanting to the open field

Sometimes, sunflowers grown in pots need to be transplanted to the open field for maintenance. In fact, the method is not very difficult.

Dig a hole in the open field. Note that the hole should be larger than the flower pot. Then take out the sunflower with the soil and put it into the hole.

When transplanting sunflowers, make sure to use the original soil, as this will make it easier for them to survive. If the sunflower has already bloomed or the plant is large, it needs more new soil.

Transplanting from the ground to pots

Many times, people grow sunflowers in the open field, but after growing for a period of time, they need to be transplanted into pots.

When transplanting, keep the soil dry. When digging out the plant, make sure it fits the size of the pot and then put it into the pot.

Note that after transplanting, water should be poured thoroughly, and maintenance watering should be carried out as needed, but be careful not to allow water to accumulate and the soil to become compacted.
