Seedling matters needing attention

Before the seeds germinate, the humidity of the seedbed must be maintained. You can cover the seedbed with a net to provide shade. After germination, full light management is required.

Fertilization should be carried out two or three times during the seedling stage to supplement the nutrients needed for growth.

Fertilization

The demand for fertilizer of the dragon face flower is average. It depends on the growth of the plant. In the peak season, it is necessary to ensure sufficient fertilizer and water. However, when the plant becomes too tall, the amount of water and fertilizer applied must be appropriately controlled.

Watering

The dragon face flower is drought-resistant, and the watering should be moderately dry overall. When watering, do not water in the middle of the plant, but water from the edges of the plant. Arrange it on a sunny afternoon and maintain adequate ventilation.

Seedling division

When the plant grows three to four pairs of true leaves, it can be transplanted. At this time, the weak seedlings and tall seedlings should be removed. When the plant grows six to seven pairs of leaves, it can be topped off to remove the pair of large leaves and growth points that have not yet unfolded or have just unfolded.

Plant shape adjustment

When the plant branches fill the pot, it can be potted for cultivation. At this time, you can pinch the top again to promote the growth of branches and improve the shape of the plant.
