Medium conditions

Secondly, the medium for cuttings should be coarse sand, perlite, etc. that have good water permeability and are conducive to rooting (remember to compact the soil).

Moisture conditions

Place it in semi-shade and spray water frequently to keep it moist. It will take root in 10 to 15 days in spring and autumn, and can be transplanted in another 10 to 15 days.

Temperature conditions

The cuttings are most likely to survive when the temperature is kept at 18℃-20℃ during the process.

Petunia cutting time selection and reasons

Petunia cuttings are relatively easy to survive, and the general time for cuttings is spring and autumn, when the survival rate is high.

In spring and autumn, the temperature is suitable and the air is dry, and the effect of constant temperature and abundant water can be achieved through human factors. At this time, cuttings can increase the survival rate through human efforts.
