How to repot red cardinal coral

The soil conditions required for repotting red cardinal coral

Cardinal coral has strong adaptability and can grow rapidly if managed and maintained properly. However, when it grows to a certain size, considering the bearing capacity of the flower pot, it needs to be transplanted into a relatively larger pot, so as to ensure its healthy and vigorous growth. The composition and proportion of the potting soil needed for repotting Cardinal Coral can be selected from the following options: garden soil: slag = 3:1, or garden soil: river sand: slag = 4:1:2. You can also choose paddy soil, leaf mold, pond mud, etc.

Preparation of flower pots before repotting

First of all, you need to choose a flowerpot of moderate size that is suitable for the growth of red cardinal coral plants, and the holes at the bottom of the flowerpot should be covered with tiles or foam sheets to retain water and soil and avoid water accumulation. Stones or broken bricks should be placed on the bottom layer of tiles or foam sheets to filter water. Place another layer of organic fertilizer on top of the filter layer, one to three centimeters. After that, spread a thin layer of substrate to separate the plant roots and fertilizer. Finally, plant the cardinal coral and add nutrient soil.

Specific method of repotting red cardinal coral

First, place the flower pot on the ground and tap the walls of the flower pot with your palms. Then turn the flower pot upside down on the palm of your left hand, hold the plant with the index and middle fingers of your left hand, hold the edge of the pot with your palm, then pat the bottom of the pot with your right hand, then put your fingers into the bottom hole and poke downwards lightly. This will allow the plant to be taken out.
