Four seasons maintenance method of jade fan

Spring and Autumn Maintenance of Jade Fan

The two seasons of spring and autumn have some similarities in themselves, so there are also some similarities between these two seasons when it comes to breeding jade fans.

Spring and autumn are the peak growth periods for jade fans, and the demand for water is very high at this time, so the soil in the pot should be kept moist but not waterlogged when watering, and compound fertilizer should be applied to the jade fan once every two weeks to meet the plant's needs for nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium, and provide the nutrients needed by the jade fan during its growth period. In this way, the jade fan can grow vigorously.

In addition, the jade fan can be repotted in spring and autumn. When repotting, you can also change the soil to make the jade fan grow better.

Summer care of Jade Fan

Summer is a season with high temperatures and strong light. At this time, the jade fan plants will enter a dormant or semi-dormant state, and the growth rate has slowed down. If you are raising jade fans at this time, you should place them in a ventilated and cool place, be careful not to expose them to the sun, and provide appropriate shade when the light is strong.

In order to prevent the jade fan plants from rotting, you need to stop fertilizing the jade fan and reduce watering.

Winter care of jade fan

The opposite is true in winter, it is a season of weak light and low temperature. When growing jade fans at this time, you should give it sufficient light and maintain a suitable temperature. You can continue watering when the temperature remains above 10℃. When the temperature drops below 5°C, the plant goes dormant.
