Magical rooting water. After using it, any branch you pinch will take root, or even burst out of the pot!

1 rice vinegar

Studies have shown that in addition to 1-5% acetic acid with a pungent smell, rice vinegar also contains many nutrients needed for plant growth and can promote plant rooting. Usage and Dosage: Mix rice vinegar and cold boiled water in a ratio of 1:100. It can be used to soak cuttings of vines such as grapes. The higher the quality of the rice vinegar, the better. Soak the lower part of the cuttings inserted into the soil in the solution for 8 to 12 hours, then take out the cuttings, dry them in the shade and then proceed to propagate them.

2Aspirin solution

Aspirin solution contains salicylic acid, which is a powerful tool for promoting plant rooting. Therefore, aspirin solution is very effective in promoting rooting. Dosage and Administration: Before cutting, soaking the cuttings in 0.01% aspirin solution can significantly increase the germination rate. Alternatively, before transplanting flowers and trees, soaking them in 0.05% aspirin solution can greatly shorten the seedling acclimatization period and increase the survival rate of transplanted flowers and trees. ★ Dissolve 0.01g of aspirin in 100ml of water to make 0.01% aspirin solution.

3. Willow extract

Scientific research shows that willow branches and willow bark contain growth hormones, which can greatly promote the rooting of cuttings. Usage and Dosage: Smash the collected willow branches with a hammer or sledgehammer, then put them into a washbasin or other container, pour water on them and soak them for 1 day. After soaking, take out the branches, leaving only the water, and put the branches for cuttings back in the next day, and soak them for a whole day (it’s okay to soak them longer, as willow sap also has ingredients that inhibit bacterial reproduction and can be used as a disinfectant). Then take out the cuttings and dry them in the shade, and then you can proceed with the cuttings as usual.

4. Vitamin B12

Vitamin B12 contains many trace elements needed for plant growth. Therefore, soaking in vitamin B12 solution does help promote rooting. Dosage and Administration: Dilute the vitamin B12 injection with 1 times the amount of cold boiled water. Soak the part of the cuttings inserted into the soil in the diluted solution for 5 minutes, take them out and dry them in the shade before cutting them again. This not only promotes the growth of the root system of the cuttings, but also promotes the healing of the tissues.

5Potassium permanganate solution

The main role of potassium permanganate solution in cuttings is actually disinfection, providing clean branches and clean soil for cuttings, avoiding contamination of the cuttings, and thus improving the rooting rate and success rate of cuttings. Usage and Dosage: First prepare 0.1%~0.5% potassium permanganate solution, then soak the part of the cuttings to be inserted into the soil in the potassium permanganate solution for 10~12 hours, take out and dry in the shade, and then proceed with the cuttings normally.
If you don't have rooting agent at home, you can try to make it yourself.
