Excellent varieties of pear trees

White pear is suitable for cultivation in areas with freezing and dry climate, while sand pear prefers warm and humid climate and is the main variety of pear cultivated in the Jianghuai region. The climatic conditions required by the European pear are similar to those of the white pear, and it is suitable for cultivation in the Huaibei area. Yali, Chili, Xuehuali, Dangshan Baisuli, etc. are excellent varieties in the white pear system. These varieties are suitable for planting in the Yellow River old course area in Huaibei and Tongyan area in Jiangsu. The excellent varieties in the sand pear system mainly include Cuifu pear, Huanghuali, Xingshui, Zhishui, Xinshiji, Kikusui, Wansanji, etc., which perform well in the Yangtze River Basin and its south areas. The Bast pear is a representative variety of the European pear system. It adapts to a relatively narrow range of climatic conditions. However, hybrids related to the European pear system, such as the Taiping pear and Zaosu pear, can be distributed in the Yangtze and Huaihe River basins and the areas to their south. They show strong resistance to stress, wide adaptability, and good yield.
