How to repot the lucky tree

How to repot the lucky tree

Repotting steps

The best time to repot the lucky tree is at the end of December.

To do the following:

First of all, before repotting, you need to water the lucky tree with enough water and fix the soil in the pot to make it easier to separate the tree from the pot. Then take out the tree and the soil, transplant it into another large pot prepared in advance, and then fill and cover the surrounding area.

Secondly, water the plant for the first time after repotting, and make sure to water it sufficiently. After repotting, pay attention to using loose soil rich in organic matter, that is, a mixture of garden soil, leaf mold, decomposed organic fertilizer, and river sand, and the soil must also have good drainage.

After that, place the replaced lucky tree in a cool place for about 4 days and give it about one hour of light every day. Wait for the branches and leaves to stretch and open before carrying out normal care.

Finally, during the growth period, the yellow leaves should be removed to ensure the growth of healthy leaves. The new branches can also be cut off to promote faster growth.

If the leaves turn yellow severely, you can dig out the roots, expose them outside, and then dilute potassium permanganate and sprinkle it on the roots.

Precautions

First of all, when repotting the lucky tree, you should pay attention to doing it at noon and avoid affecting the roots when taking the soil.

Secondly, after changing the pot, make sure to place it in a cool place and avoid exposure to the sun.

When watering for the last time, please note that the first watering is very important, so the water must be poured thoroughly and seep into the roots, which is conducive to future growth.

Pay attention to removing yellow leaves. Pick them when you see them. Do not leave them behind to avoid contaminating other leaves.
