Propagation of the flower

How to propagate the flower

The propagation method of the curled flower is to use the bulbs to produce the bulbs of the curled flower, and the bulbs are basically grown from bulbils, small bulbs, scales and seeds. When planting curled flowers, the soil should generally be made of yellow soil from the hillside or the high ground to provide the nutrients needed for growing curled flowers.

Planting and propagation of hibiscus

First of all, the best time to plant the jasmine is in autumn, because the bulbs take root well in the soil at that time, and they will sprout early in the spring of the following year, and the yield will also be high.

Secondly, when choosing the bulbs to plant, you should choose bulbs with only one bulb bud, and they should be free of pests and diseases, with no damaged bulbs, no unhealthy mold spots, and they should be of medium size. Then you can plant them in the soil.

Finally, it is necessary to carry out reasonable planting. When planting bulbs, the tip of the bulb should face upwards, and fine soil should be slowly filled around the bulbs, and then base fertilizer should be added to ensure its nutritional needs. However, be sure to pay attention that the fertilizer cannot touch the bulbs.

The maintenance of the reproduction of the hibiscus flower

After planting the curled flower, proper maintenance is required.

First, apply fertilizer: Wait until one week after the bulbs sprout in spring, and then add fertilizer next to the roots. When picking flower buds, apply urea fertilizer, and when flowering, spray potassium dihydrogen phosphate solution twice. Top dressing should be done during the autumnal equinox, and no more top dressing should be done until sufficient base fertilizer has been applied.

The second is watering: the amount of watering for the curled flower needs to be appropriate, and good drainage is also required to prevent rot.

The last step is the plant adjustment of the hibiscus: including removing tillers, picking flowers, picking bulbils, and picking tops, etc. First, remove the stems when seedlings emerge in spring, pick the flower buds and plant buds at the end of May, and then top the plants after the flower buds grow out to inhibit the growth of the tops.
