Advantages and disadvantages of Knot Rose

The Knot of Love rose was successfully bred by Japan in 2011. Its flowers are pink in color and have a diameter of ten centimeters.

The rose "Jie Ai" has a very big highlight, that is, the number of petals is very large, layered, and many times the entire bud seems to be wrapped by the petals, and the bud is almost invisible.

Advantages of Knot Love Rose

The advantages of the Jie Ai rose are that the flowers are very fragrant, with a very strong aroma of old roses. They are very upright, grow vigorously, have strong disease resistance, bloom frequently, have large flowers, and do not droop .

Disadvantages of Knot Love Rose

The disadvantage of the Jie Ai rose is that it has poor ability to resist pest attacks. It has long branches, grows relatively slowly, re-flowers slowly, and has poor resistance to powdery mildew .

Key points for knot love maintenance

1. Lighting

The Jie Ai rose is a sun-loving flower and needs at least five hours of sunlight a day. A longer sunlight time is beneficial for flowering, making the flowers more colorful and the plants stronger.

2. Fertilization

When caring for the Jie Ai rose, there must be sufficient nutrients and fertilizer should be applied frequently during the growth period. Apply decomposed fertilizer water every ten days or so, once a week during the vigorous growth period, and one to two times of quick-acting phosphorus fertilizer during the flowering period.

3. Repotting

The potting soil of the potted rose needs to be changed as the plant grows. When changing the pot, organic fertilizer should be applied to facilitate the development of the root system to keep the soil loose and well ventilated.
