How to propagate the angel flower

How to propagate the angel flower

Whether it is a complete set of decorations or an embellishment in a pot, the angel flower has an elegant temperament.

Cutting propagation method of angelica

Before grafting, we must first prepare the soil. Sandy loam is generally suitable for cultivation, and fertile soil rich in fallen leaf humus is best.

When taking cuttings, we should choose young branches grown that year, with a length of 12-15 cm. Remove all the leaves at the lower end and cut half of the leaves at the upper end. Insert it 4 to 5 cm into the soil.

After the cuttings are completed, water them sufficiently and cover the surface with a layer of plastic film to ensure the moisture of the soil. Afterwards, water it moderately 2/3 times a day and wait quietly for a month and a half for it to take root.

The sowing method of the flower of heaven

The best time to plant angelica is in mid-March, when the temperature warms up. Warm weather can ensure a certain germination rate.

The soil should be loosened and leveled before sowing. Water thoroughly and wait for the water to be absorbed by the soil, then bury the seeds at a depth of 1-2 cm. It should also be covered with plastic film.

While waiting for the new seedlings to grow, be sure to provide shade to prevent sunburn.
