How does Moon Feast pollinate?

Pollination timing

The flowers of the Moon Banquet are in long, thin tubes, so it is difficult to see the structure of the pistils and stamens inside when the Moon Banquet just blooms. However, you can only see the pollen of the stamens but not the pistils. Don't worry, just wait patiently for two or three days and the pistil will poke its head out. At this time, the pistil is ready and it is a good time for pollination!

The one on top is the pistil, and the four below are stamens: the pollen of the stamens is at the bottom, observe carefully!

Pollination method

Use the smallest brush to carefully pick up the pollen and apply it to the pistil.

Withered flowers

The flowers begin to wither a few days after pollination, so don't make a fuss at this time! If you pinch the petals at this time, the whole flower will separate from the pistil and fall off. When picking off the petals, the stamens are also picked off, leaving only the pistil and ovary after pollination.

Seed

If you wait patiently for a while, the seeds will gradually mature, the ovary will begin to change, and the calyx behind it will begin to unfold. At this time, everyone must observe the progress every day, because the ovary will soon split, and if you don’t find it in time, the seeds will scatter by themselves!

Harvest

There are a lot of seeds in a pod. According to statistics, there are about 3,000 seeds. This is a big harvest. Remember to plant them quickly after removing them!
