How to sow peach eggs

Peach Eggs Sowing Soil

Before sowing, you need to prepare the soil first. You can use peat soil, add some coal slag and perlite, or you can choose some other media by yourself, just keep the soil loose and well-ventilated.

Peach egg planting basin

Place the sowing container in a basin of water and soak it. Add carbendazim to the water in advance for disinfection. The depth of the basin should be about one-third. It is not recommended to soak the entire basin.

It's done when there's moisture on the soil, which usually takes a few minutes.

Peach Egg Sowing Sowing

You can choose between spot sowing and broadcast sowing. Broadcast sowing is recommended because the seeds of peach eggs are small and spot sowing is more troublesome.

Peach egg sowing and covering

After sowing, cover the sowing box with a layer of transparent film to keep moisture and let light in. Then place the container in a bright place with diffuse light.

Things to note when planting peach eggs

It is best not to use Kanuma soil and Akadama soil when preparing the soil, as they can easily cause the seedlings to become stiff.

It is not recommended to place it in direct sunlight after lamination, but scattered light is sufficient.

Try to keep the temperature around the container at 15℃-30℃, which is more conducive to seed germination.

If there is green moss growing on the soil surface, ventilation can be increased appropriately.
