Tips for Frost Morning Leaf Insertion

Tips for Frost Morning Leaf Insertion

Season Selection

Frost morning leaf cuttings can be carried out in spring and autumn, and in winter in areas north of the Yangtze River. There is heating in the north, so there is no need to worry about freezing.

Select blade

The leaves of Frost Morning are relatively hard, so be careful when breaking them off to avoid damaging the growing points.

Choose healthy, mature and complete leaves for cuttings.

Soil selection

Tilt the frost slightly towards the leaves or place it flat on vermiculite, peat or coconut coir, keeping it slightly moist.

It will soon take root at the base and grow new shoots. When the new shoots grow a little bigger, they can be planted separately to become new plants.
