How to grow torch flower

How to grow torch flower

1. Cultivation technology

1. Flower soil: Torch Flower has relatively high requirements for soil. The soil must not only be loose and fertile, but also have strong drainage. During cultivation, add an appropriate amount of organic fertilizer to the soil.

2. Light: It will grow well in an environment with sufficient sunlight. Do not keep it in a place that is too shady. If the plant cannot see sunlight, its leaves will easily turn yellow.

3. Water: When watering it, it should be watered thoroughly, but there should not be excess water in the soil. Pay attention to the weather at ordinary times. If it rains, put it in a place where it will not be exposed to rain as soon as possible.

4. Temperature: It has very good growth ability and is also very cold-resistant. The temperature during winter should be above 5℃, and some varieties can even grow at minus 20℃.

2. Breeding Methods

1. Sowing method: It is mostly carried out in spring and autumn, and sowing should be done immediately after harvesting the seeds. An appropriate amount of organic fertilizer should be added to the soil. The seeds can be planted in January for seedling cultivation, and they can be transplanted in April.

2. Division method: It can be done in autumn. After the flowering period, dig out the plant with its roots and use a blade to divide it into two or three plants, each with 2-3 roots. After dividing the plants, plant them separately and water them appropriately.
