Tangyin Spring and Autumn Watering Cycle

Spring and autumn are the growing seasons for Tangyin. Generally, it is watered once every 1 to 2 weeks to keep the soil in the pot moist but not waterlogged. Watering too frequently can easily cause the stems of the Tangyin plant to turn white and rot.

Tangyin winter and summer watering principles

Winter is cold and the growth of Tangyin is slow or even stagnant. When watering, keep the soil in the pot slightly dry. Only water appropriately when you see cracks in the soil.

In the hot summer, excessive watering can easily lead to root rot and death of the entire plant. When watering in summer, you should only water when you see the soil in the pot turns a little white. It is better to keep it dry than wet.

Improper watering causes disease

Improper watering can cause root rot, whitening of stems and other symptoms. In severe cases, it can even lead to plant death.

Once you find that the plant is not growing well, check whether the soil in the pot is too moist. If it is too moist, change the soil, remove the rotten roots, cut off the white parts of the stems, and replant them after drying.
