PreparationYou need to prepare a few things before you start, including a transparent plastic container and some perlite or sand. First, spread 1-2 cm of perlite or sand on the bottom of the container, place it upside down on top, and then spread a layer of perlite until the anemone is completely shielded from light. Then use a watering can to spray water to wet the perlite and sand. Water can accumulate in the container, but the water should not cover the claws of the anemone. Water absorption stagePlace the container in the refrigerator at about 5°C and allow the anemone to absorb water in the moist flower stems for 3 days. Generally, the tuberous roots of the anemone will become round and plump after 3 days. If the perlite is too dry during this period, you can spray some water appropriately, but do not soak the anemone with water. Germination stageTake the container out of the refrigerator and place it in an environment of 12-18℃ for germination. The central bud and white roots will grow in about 7 days. It can be transplanted now. The white fibrous roots should not exceed 1 cm, otherwise it will not survive easily when planted. In addition, during the germination process, you can check the bulbs frequently. Any rotten parts need to be cleaned up in time and disinfected with some wood ash. |
