How to grow roses in Arabian Nights

The Arabian Nights rose is a shrub rose with layers of petals and wavy edges. One branch can produce many flower buds, and the flower color is a beautiful pink. Here I will introduce to you the cultivation method of Arabian Nights rose.

1. Soil

Arabian Nights is hardy and easy to grow. Generally, the soil should be kept loose, fertile, breathable and well-drained. Avoid soil that is too sticky, as waterlogging will cause black rot in the roots and the plant will fail to survive. It is recommended to use a substrate mixed with peat soil, garden soil and river sand. The soil should be exposed to the sun for disinfection before planting. When potting, put tiles at the bottom of the pot, fill with a layer of soil, sprinkle sheep manure as base fertilizer, and continue to fill the soil for planting.

2. Lighting

Arabian Nights likes an environment with sufficient light. When there is sufficient light, its flowers will be larger. One branch can have 5 or 6 flowers. The flowers are large and bright, and very beautiful. If you have a garden, you can plant the Arabian Nights in a high location with thick and fertile soil, or place it in a pot on the balcony. In addition to shading during the high temperatures in summer, try to get more sunlight in spring, autumn and winter to help the Arabian Nights buds grow and bloom.

3. Temperature

Arabian Nights cannot tolerate exposure to the sun. When the temperature is above 30 degrees, provide shade in time. If the light is too strong, its flowers will fall apart. Arabian Nights is cold-resistant. If it is potted and kept normally in a greenhouse in winter, it will continue to grow and bloom, and its flowering is no less than that in spring.

4. Watering

When watering the Arabian Nights, keep the soil moist in the cool spring and autumn; in the hot summer, water evaporates quickly and water in the morning and evening; in the cold winter, water the plants once with water and fertilizer before wintering. Potted plants can be moved to the greenhouse for normal watering and maintenance. During the flowering period, don’t let the Arabian Nights get exposed to rain, otherwise the flowers will fall and the flowering period will be shortened.

5. Fertilization

Arabian Nights is a rose variety that blooms more frequently. When fertilizing, do not apply too much nitrogen fertilizer to avoid excessive growth. You can spray Huaduoduo No. 2 to supplement phosphorus and potassium elements and promote the growth of flower buds and buds. The concentration of the fertilizer solution should not be too high, the ratio to clean water should be 2:1000.

6. Pruning

Some pruning is needed on the Arabian Nights, cutting off blind branches, weak branches, diseased branches, and old branches to prevent these useless branches from continuing to consume nutrients, while promoting the sprouting of new branches. After the flowers wither, cut off the dead flowers and rotten stems, and apply some organic fertilizer liquid to prepare for the next flowering.
