1. Spring and Summer Radish

Spring-summer radish refers to a type of radish that is sown in early spring and harvested in early summer. The growing period is generally about 40-60 days. The characteristics of spring and summer radishes are that they have a shorter growing period, grow faster, and have stronger wintering ability. Most of them are commonly grown in the vast areas north of the Yangtze River in China. The red-skinned varieties of spring and summer radishes include Jiuquan Swan Egg, Zhangye Purple Radish, Linxia Red Dove Mouth, Baotou Small Seed Water Radish, Nanjing May Red, Hami Red Long Stick, etc., and the white-skinned varieties include Gansu Water Radish, Linxia White Spotted Dove Mouth, Baicheng White Water Radish, etc.

2. Summer and Autumn Radish

Summer and autumn radishes are generally sown in summer and harvested in autumn. The growing period is generally about 50-90 days. The characteristics of summer and autumn radishes are strong heat resistance, strong moisture resistance, more water in the fruit, and a good taste.

3. Autumn and Winter Radish

Autumn and winter radishes are generally sown in late summer or early autumn. The growing season is in autumn and early winter. They are harvested in late autumn and early winter, mainly for the winter market. There are many varieties of autumn and winter radishes, and they are widely cultivated. The product quality is very good, they are resistant to storage and transportation, and have a long market supply period.

4. Winter and Spring Radish

Winter-spring radishes are sown in late autumn or early winter, overwinter in the open field, and harvested in February-March of the following year. The characteristics of winter-spring radishes are that they are relatively cold-resistant, have strong winter resistance, and sprout late, and can survive the winter smoothly.

5. Four Seasons Radish

Four-season radishes can be planted all year round. The main varieties include Shanghai small red radish, Chengdu loquat radish, etc.
