Cultivation methods and precautions of Sansevieria trifasciata

1. Loosen the soil

The stick-leaf tiger tail orchid is one of the varieties of tiger tail orchid. The soil requirements are similar to other varieties. The requirements for the soil are not strict, but it needs to maintain a loose and breathable effect and have good drainage and nutritious sandy soil. When you prepare it yourself at home, you can choose to mix peat soil, leaf mold, sand, and perlite.

2. Sufficient light

The stick-leaf tiger tail orchid has a high demand for sunlight. It likes sunlight very much, so it must be placed in a sunny place for growth and maintenance. If you are maintaining it indoors, you can place it near a window.

3. Proper watering

The plant Sansevieria clove is relatively drought-resistant and does not require much water. It is in the growth stage in spring and requires more water, so you can water it more appropriately. The temperature in winter is very low, so keep the soil dry and try not to water it.

4. Suitable temperature

It likes to grow in warm places and the temperature should be kept at around 16-30 degrees. Pay attention to antifreeze in winter and be sure to maintain a good temperature.

5. Apply fertilizer appropriately

It does not require much fertilizer. During cultivation, decomposed base fertilizer can be applied, and fertilizer should be applied every 10 to 15 days during the growing period.

Although the Sansevieria clove likes plenty of sunlight, it should be avoided from direct exposure to the sun.
