What are the minefields of flower cultivation?

What are the minefields of flower cultivation?

1. Be careful with flowers that have strong fragrance

If people are exposed to flowers with overly strong fragrance for a long time, it will inevitably have some negative effects on their body. For example, flowers like roses and daffodils mostly only have a fragrant smell that is refreshing at first, but after a long time, people will only feel dizzy or even a little nauseous, and it may also cause asthma, pharyngitis, allergic rhinitis, cough and other symptoms. This situation will only get more serious. It's not like people will adapt to that environment and it won't affect them. The strong floral scent in the air and the relatively reduced oxygen content will stimulate people to hyperventilate, causing a decrease in the oxygen content in the blood and resulting in adverse reactions such as headaches, dizziness, and nausea. For example, if you smell the scent of orchids too much, it will make you feel dizzy; smelling the scent of lilies for too long will also make you feel dizzy or even suffer from insomnia.

If there are many flowers indoors, the fragrance is strong, and the space is not well ventilated, some people may even experience "oxygen deficiency". Adverse reactions such as chest tightness, shortness of breath, and difficulty breathing are likely to occur during the day. People also suffer from poor rest at night because of lack of air, which leads to poor sleep and insomnia. In the long run, the original purpose of growing flowers will be contrary to this. However, as long as you do not grow such flowers indoors, there will be no such worries.

2. Be careful with flowers that may cause allergies

Pollen allergy is the most harmful to the human body. The smaller the pollen particles, the more severe the allergy caused. Generally, most of the plants that cause allergies in people are outdoor plants, but flowers grown indoors may also cause allergies. They can cause allergic symptoms in people through direct or indirect contact, such as itchy eyes, nose, ears, throat, and skin, so you must be careful when choosing cultivated flowers.

3. Be careful with poisonous flowers

Some flowers are toxic in themselves and can cause adverse reactions to the human body through their smell, juice, etc. Especially the juice of some flowers, once people come into contact with it, it may cause skin allergies, redness, and itching at the mildest, or terrible consequences such as diarrhea, blindness, etc. If someone has high blood pressure or heart disease, it will only do harm to their body and have no benefits. In addition, if there are children at home, it is best to place poisonous flowers out of the reach of children, or directly choose other safer flowers.
