Cultivation methods and precautions of morning glory

Cultivation methods and precautions of morning glory

1. Maintenance methods

1. Substrate selection: Morning glory will grow well in sandy soil, which has good drainage and breathability. When caring for it at home, you can mix perlite, garden soil and river sand together.

2. Light management: Morning glory likes an environment with sufficient light and a well-ventilated place, but does not like the cold, which is conducive to the growth of the plant. Do not expose it to strong sunlight during the hot summer months.

3. Temperature management: Morning glory likes a warm and humid environment. The most suitable temperature for its growth is 10-20℃. In winter, it should be moved indoors for cultivation.

4. Water management: Watering should be carried out according to the humidity of the soil. If the soil is too dry, water should be replenished in time. If the soil is too moist, the morning glory will not be able to survive, but it also does not like a waterlogged environment.

2. Breeding techniques

1. Overwintering: In winter, the most suitable temperature for the morning glory cannot be reached, so it should be moved indoors to avoid being frozen.

2. Sowing: You should choose seeds that are not damaged, and then soak them in water for 24 hours, which will extend the germination time of the seeds. Then sow it in the prepared soil and it will sprout soon.
