Cultivation methods and precautions of Onslow succulents

1. Soil

It does not have many requirements for the choice of soil. As long as the soil is loose, water-conserving and breathable, it can be grown well. Generally, sandy loam and vermiculite are suitable.

2. Water

It does not require much water, so do not water it too much, just keep the soil moist. It is only necessary to water the plant once every three days. On rainy days, it should be properly shaded to prevent rainwater from being stored in the pot and causing root rot.

3. Nutrients

During its growth period, it should be supplemented with sufficient fertilizer, and organic fertilizer is generally preferred. Dissolve the fertilizer in water and then pour it around the soil. Topdressing should be done once a week. The amount of fertilizer applied should not be too much. It is better to apply small amounts frequently.

4. Lighting

It likes plenty of light, but not strong light. Long-term diffuse light exposure is more beneficial to the growth of plants, and sufficient light absorption can make the leaves thicker and the color brighter. When the light is strong in summer, it should be properly shaded to avoid strong sunlight damaging the leaves.
