Is there a particular requirement for the number of pots of asparagus fern? Five points to pay attention to in its maintenance

1. Is there a particular requirement for the number of pots?

Asparagus fern has a beautiful appearance and its branches and leaves are evergreen all year round. Placing it in your home will make it look very elegant. In fact, there is no particular requirement as to how many pots you should keep. From the perspective of Feng Shui, there are certain taboos on the placement of the pots. However, people who do not believe in Feng Shui can place them anywhere. Try to avoid placing it near the kitchen, bathroom, bedroom window, or in dark corners. The most suitable locations are the study and living room.

2. Five points to note for maintenance

1. Asparagus fern does not have good cold resistance. In the northern region of my country, it needs to be brought indoors in time after the temperature drops, and the indoor temperature must be controlled above 15℃ so that it can survive the winter smoothly.

2. Although it is a water-loving plant, you cannot water it too much. Watering too frequently can easily cause waterlogging and root rot. You can spray the plants with water frequently, and water them more frequently in summer. However, water must be controlled in winter. The soil in the pot should not be too wet or too dry.

3. During the maintenance period, it needs to be fertilized. Remember not to apply raw fertilizer, but to use decomposed fertilizer. Fertilization can be applied slightly more frequently in spring and autumn, generally once a week, while in winter it should be applied every 15-20 days.

4. Asparagus fern hates smoke and dust, so the maintenance environment should be fresh. Also keep it away from marble objects, which can absorb mercury but will harm the growth of the plant, so try to keep them away from them.

5. Pay attention to pruning asparagus fern during maintenance, otherwise the branches will grow too closely, which will not only reduce the ornamental value, but also affect the ventilation and lighting of the plant. If there are too many evil roots, the plants should be divided into pots as soon as possible.
