Are cherries and cherries the same? What is the difference?

Cherries and cherries are different. There are many differences between them, which are mainly reflected in the following six points.

1. Different appearance

The skin of cherries is dark red and they are slightly larger in size; the skin of cherries is more rosy, red or light pink.

2. Different taste

The flesh of cherries is dense and tastes very sweet; the flesh of cherry is relatively hard and tastes sweet with a hint of sourness.

3. Different origins

Cherries are imported fruits produced abroad, mainly from the United States, Canada, Chile and other regions; cherries are produced domestically, mainly from Yantai, Shandong.

4. Different maturity times

They are all seasonal fruits, but there are differences in the time at which they ripen. Cherries generally mature earlier than cherries. They are available in May and basically disappear from the market in July. Cherries generally mature in June and are available in mid-June. They basically disappear from the market by August.

5. Different nutritional values

The iron content of cherries is higher than that of cherries, which can effectively meet the body's need for iron, promote the regeneration of hemoglobin and myoglobin, and prevent iron deficiency anemia.

6. Different prices

Since cherries are imported from abroad and the cost is high, they are more expensive than cherries. Cherries are grown in greenhouses in my country, so the cost is lower and the price is naturally lower as well. For the same weight per pound, the price difference between cherries and cherries is about 60 yuan.
