1. What plants should not be watered?

Rice water will produce acidic substances after fermentation, so it can be used to water plants that like acid. On the contrary, it cannot be used for plants that like alkaline soil. The more common alkaline-loving plants include hibiscus, rose, pomegranate, carnation, costusroot, boxwood, forsythia, geranium, cactus and some conifers. If you water the above plants, it will damage its root system and affect its normal growth.

2. Can Jianlan be watered?

Jianlan is a plant belonging to the genus Orchidaceae. It likes slightly acidic soil, and rice water also contains acidic substances, so it can be used to water Jianlan. Moreover, rice water is rich in nutrients, which is very helpful for its growth and development.

3. Precautions for use

1. Fermentation: Although rice water can be used to water Jianlan, it cannot be used directly after washing rice water. It needs to be put into the bottle for fermentation and can only be used after it has been fully fermented.

2. Frequency: Even if it is beneficial to its growth, it cannot be used too frequently. It can be used once every 15 days, or longer. Reasonable use will be more helpful for the growth of plant roots.
