How to plant peony flowers

1. Prepare the soil

Peony planting requires the use of sandy soil and humus soil , which are prepared in a ratio of 1:2. Both types of soil are organic soils, loose and fertile, with good air permeability and drainage, which are very suitable for the growth of peonies. Even if too much water is poured, it can be well absorbed, which can effectively avoid the problem of water accumulation.

2. Soak the seedlings

Clean the roots of the selected peony seedlings and soak them in a diluted carbendazim solution for about 3 hours . Then choose a large container, add water and rooting agent, place the seedlings in the container and continue to soak for an hour. The rooting agent can accelerate the rapid growth of the roots.

3. Seedling planting

Trim the roots of the soaked seedlings, use sterilized scissors to cut off the parts of the roots that are not growing well, and apply sulfur powder on the roots to disinfect and sterilize them .

Choose a flowerpot of appropriate size, insert the roots of the seedlings into the prepared soil, water lightly, and place in a cool and ventilated location. It will take root and sprout in 15-20 days.
