What is the difference between flower buds and pistils?

1. Difference

There is an essential difference between flower buds and stamens. Flower buds refer to the time when the flower buds are growing and developing and are close to flowering. That is, when the flower has not yet opened, it is called a flower bud, also called a flower bud. Common examples include rose buds and rose buds. The pistil is the core of the flower after it blooms, which is the component of the flower, and it is divided into stamens and pistils.

1. Pistil: The pistil is divided into simple pistil and compound pistil. The simple pistil is actually formed by a single carpel, while the compound pistil is formed by 2 or more carpels. The basic unit of the pistil is the carpel, and a carpel is a modified leaf.

2. Stamens: Stamens generally include anthers and filaments. Anthers are where pollen is produced, and filaments are the parts under the anthers that connect the anthers and the receptacle. Flowers with many stamens include peonies and camellias, and their petals may have multiple whorls.

3. Morphological structure

Flowers have many forms, and are usually composed of the receptacle, pedicel, calyx, corolla, perianth, stamens and pistils. The receptacle is the more swollen part at the top of the pedicel, the pedicel is the branch used to connect the stem, the calyx is the outermost modified leaves of the flower, the corolla is composed of many petals, and the perianth is the sum of the corolla and calyx.
