Breeding methods and precautions of Black Beauty

Breeding methods and precautions of Black Beauty

1. Maintenance methods

1. Substrate selection: The soil required for cultivating black beauty is good in drainage and air permeability. Leaf mold or sandy loam is the most suitable.

2. Light management: Black Beauty is suitable for growing in a warm environment. It should be kept away from cool places, and remember not to expose it to the scorching sun. It is best to have about 50% light.

3. Temperature management: It likes dark places. The most suitable temperature for the growth of Black Beauty is 22-32℃, and the extreme temperature in winter is above 10℃. Short periods of low temperature can cause frostbite on the Black Beauty, causing the leaves or stems to rot, so you should keep warm.

4. Water management: Black Beauty is naturally shade-tolerant and likes a humid environment, so you should often spray water or mist on the leaves, which is very helpful for its growth.

2. Breeding techniques

1. Pruning: When pruning Black Beauty, you should trim the aging leaves or damaged roots. If the roots are rotten, they must be removed, otherwise the problematic part will infect other normal parts.

2. Cuttings: In spring or summer, after pruning, cut the branches into river sand or sawdust, and they will grow roots in about 10 days.

3. Problem diagnosis and treatment

1. Root rot: Be sure to pay attention to temperature control. Low temperature will cause frostbite, leading to root rot or stem rot, so be sure to control it within the appropriate temperature and keep warm.

2. Sunburn: Black beauty likes high temperature and high humidity environment, but it cannot be exposed to the scorching sun, otherwise it will be sunburned. After sunburn, move to a cool place immediately and spray water to keep moisturized.

IV. Other issues

1. Can it be grown in water? Yes, it can be grown in water, but in summer, you need to spray water frequently to maintain air humidity, and change the water frequently. Because black beauty absorbs too many nutrients, it is easy to die from lack of oxygen if the water is not changed.

2. Can it be grown at home: Black beauty can be grown at home. It is not only a decorative plant in the home, but also can purify the air and absorb radiation.
