When does the mahogany bloom? How to grow it so that it blooms

1. When does the mahogany bloom?

Rosewood is a common flower plant in home gardening. It usually blooms between May and July every year. It starts to bloom in spring and reaches its peak flowering period in early summer. Potted mahogany is difficult to bloom and requires very high maintenance. But if it blooms, it will be very beautiful and have a very high ornamental value.

2. How to grow it to bloom

Temperature: Mahogany likes warmth and has relatively high requirements for the temperature of the breeding environment. There must be a certain temperature difference between day and night. The best breeding temperature during the day is between 21 and 26 degrees Celsius, and at night it is best between 15 and 17 degrees Celsius. It likes a warm environment, so you should pay special attention to keeping it warm in winter. When the temperature exceeds 35 degrees Celsius in summer, spray water frequently around the plants to lower the surrounding temperature and increase the air humidity.

Sunlight: Rosewood loves light and needs to be kept in a place with sufficient light. Adequate light is conducive to its full photosynthesis, which then synthesizes the nutrients needed for its growth, enabling it to grow and bloom smoothly in the later stage.

Watering: During the growth period and before flowering, the redwood fragrance has a relatively large demand for water, so it needs to be watered frequently to meet its growth needs for water. When winter comes, the outside temperature drops significantly and its demand for water also decreases, so you can reduce watering.

Fertilization: During the growing season, you can apply a thin layer of fertilizer every fifteen to twenty days. When it blooms, you should also provide it with sufficient nutrients to make its flowers look better and last longer. After autumn, the main fertilizer to be applied is compound fertilizer, and in winter, fertilizer control should be started. Some clean water should be poured after each fertilization.
